Office assistant for a growing consultancy firm in Brussel

Our client is a fast-growing European consultancy firm, advising clients to overcome challenges and drive sustainable value across Transactions, Restructuring, Transformation and Financial Engineering. They are growing fast across all our different business lines and are opening offices worldwide.

Currently, our client has around 50 employees based in Brussels and Amsterdam. 

The office is located near a train station.

To support their growth, they are looking for an additional member of their support team to facilitate the daily management of their offices.

 

Currently, their team consists of one office manager with whom you will be collaborating daily. In addition, you will be working in close collaboration with the support team in our HQ in Paris, and admin officers of other offices across Europe.

As Office Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and suppliers and provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operations of our offices. 

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

  • Organizing and scheduling appointments and meetings.
  • Organizing and booking travel arrangements.
  • You will oversee health and safety-related topics for the Brussels office (Covid protocols, first aid).
  • You will function as a central point for incoming and outgoing mail/shipments.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and updating our CRM and filing system.
  • You will organize office supplies, make sure the office looks presentable at all times and liaise with the building manager for all building-related topics.
  • You will provide general support to visitors.
  • You will assist in the organization of team events.
  • You will provide overall assistance and support in administrative tasks.

Who are you? 

  • You are fluent in English and French (written and spoken), knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
  • You are proficient in MS Office.
  • You are detailed oriented.
  • You find pleasure and fulfilment creating order.
  • You have proven admin or assistant experience.
  • You have excellent time management skills, and you are able to prioritize work.
