Auditor - EU Funds English and Dutch in Diegem
As an Auditor within the EC Assurance Team, you participate in various audit assignments for the European institutions, international donors and Belgian executors of projects in both the private and public sphere. Thanks to this broad customer portfolio, our teams are active in Belgium, Europe and even the whole world.
- You carry out audit assignments on projects funded by the European Union, within thematic areas such as development aid, sustainable development, research and innovation, migration and justice, employment, social affairs, education, etc.;
- You have daily customer contact, both with the customer and remotely;
- You prepare the audit, you are responsible for the execution of audit tasks and the preparation of work papers and you prepare the audit reports to be submitted to the European Commission or International donor;
- You keep a close eye on the deadlines and deliverables of the assignment, so that the checks run efficiently and the reports are delivered on time;
- You work with the help of digital audit tools that allow you to concentrate on the important control tasks; You are guided individually, both on the job and in the team, so that you can grow professionally;
- You are part of an international audit team.
- You have Bachelor in Accountancy or a Master's degree in commercial sciences, economics.
- You have experience, preferably 1-3 years, with the control, management or reporting of (subsidised) projects or as an accountant.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.
- You have an affinity with numbers and are you still looking for a varied and challenging job content;
- You have more than excellent Excel skills and are good at using Word, and other MS Office programs;
- You have knowledge of and experience with the rules and financial regulations of EU funding programs and EU-funded projects or would you like to learn.
